Julia Moreno Fernández, Invited Artist for 2016, was born in Madrid in 1989. 'Julia Eme', her artistic name, is considered one of the country's up-and-coming creative artists, with an extensive list of awards, grants, one-man and collective exhibitions to her name. Her work includes drawing, painting, photography, sculpture, installations, collaborations, illustrations for magazines and books, as well as theatrical design and scenography. Thanks to an Erasmus grant from the EU, she has also studied and worked in Germany and Serbia, as well as other places in Spain.
